Organic Blueberry Orchard
The Organic Blueberry Orchard produced over 300 gallons of fresh Organic Blueberries in the 2006 season. The 320 bushes of 3 to 7 year old plants will produce for 45+ years and are the highest antioxidant of most all fruits and vegetables. The Blueberry orchard is set up with an in ground drip irrigation system for ease of watering and gravity fed by pure spring water from a underground 600 gallon resevior, that also feeds two organic garden areas, as well as the guest home, main home or both. An additional water source plumbed into both buildings is a deep 265 ft. well, delivering the best tasting water to be had.
There are numerous fruit trees such as Paw Paw, Apple and Peach in addition to the Blueberries along with a deluxe chicken house, just ask our hens.
